Our Mission

Our purpose is to connect Western Australians with the United Nations in order to promote justice, peace, security and sustainable development for present and future generations.

Our Nature and Funding

The UNAA is a non-government, non-profit, community-based and volunteer-run organisation. It is a member of WFUNA (World Federation of United Nations Associations) but is not part of the UN (United Nations) itself or its agencies such as UNEP (United Nations Environment Programme). It receives no funding from the UN and no regular funding (only occasional grants for specific purposes) from federal, state or local government.
